What To Expect

Day One

Day Two

  • 8:00am - Check-in, Receive “Teen Scene Challenge” T-shirt
  • 9:00-9:15am - Safety Guidelines / Review Day 1 Skills
  • 9:15-12:45pm - Skill Station Rotations (Acquisition and Mastery Stage)
    • Advanced Crash Avoidance / Decision Making
    • Wet/Dry Braking
    • Impaired Driving Awareness
    • Distractions
  • 12:45-1:45pm - Working Lunch (courtesy of Chef Bob)
  • 1:45-2:45pm - Teen Scene Challenge
  • 2:45-3:45pm - Graduation, Receive Certificate of Completion, Wrap Up

As you can see, we have packed a lot of action into a small amount of time; sessions will start promptly, please be on time and ready to learn!

Skid Pad Skid Pad

Bring

  • Your own car, full tank of gas and tires with good tread
  • Driver’s license for both student and parent
  • Proof of insurance for car driven in class and current registration
  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, rain gear (if needed)
  • Closed toe shoes, tennis shoes preferred
    • (no flip-flops or sandals)
  • Dress comfortably
    • (watch the weather and plan accordingly)
  • A smile and positive attitude!

Be prepared for

  • A fun, fast-paced 2-day driver training class that will teach you skills to become a safer, more courteous driver for a lifetime
  • Lunch will be provided. Chef Bob will be cooking hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs on the grill. If this does not suit your taste buds, please bring your own, a cooler will be available.
  • Water and Gatorade will be available at each skill station, as well as inside the classroom, please stay hydrated!!!
  • Permission slips and waivers will be completed and notarized during registration on the morning of Day 1
  • Shade will be provided, however you will be outside for most of the day and this is Florida, it will be warm
  • Classes will be held rain or shine, except in the case of extreme weather, you will be notified if class is cancelled for this reason
